Bodnar: we're waiting for EU Commission to approve Poland's EPPO accession

Justice Minister and Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar met on Monday (Jan. 29) in Warsaw with European Chief Prosecutor Laura Codruța Kövesi. At a joint press conference, Bodnar stressed Warsaw was waiting for the European Commission to approve Poland's bid to join the European Public Prosecutor Office (EPPO). He called it "an important process for the Polish prosecution service, revolutionary in itself".

If Jarosław Kaczyński claims the Sejm is non-existent, then maybe we should stop paying out salaries to MPs. Kaczyński said earlier that day if the parliament questions the validity of a contested chamber of the Supreme Court, then it means "the election was not confirmed, therefore there is no Sejm, and Mr Hołownia is not the speaker of the Sejm".

Polish MFA strongly condemns new wave of repressions in Belarus

President Duda calls on justice minister to release jailed former PiS ministers
